In addition to Ethernet switches, some ICE ClusterWare ™ clusters use an InfiniBand network for high performance network connectivity between compute nodes.
Use the InfiniBand page to create and manage your InfiniBand network within ClusterWare. The page is available via Network > InfiniBand in the left navigation panel.
Create InfiniBand Network#
To create an InfiniBand network:
Click Add InfiniBand.
Add details about the InfiniBand network.
Name: Required. Names must start with an alphabet character, not a number.
Host: Required. Provide the username and subnet manager IP address or hostname in the format
<name>@<subnet manager host>. For example:root@172.18.244.55.
Click Save to create the InfiniBand network.
The new InfiniBand network appears in the list at the top of the page.
Edit InfiniBand Network#
To edit an InfiniBand network:
Click the InfiniBand network name to open the detail panel, then click Edit InfiniBand. Alternatively, click the More menu
on the far right
of the row and select the Edit action.The Edit InfiniBand panel populates with the InfiniBand network details.
Make updates to the InfiniBand network.
Click Save to modify the InfiniBand network.
Delete InfiniBand Network#
To delete an InfiniBand network, click the More menu on the far
right of the row and select the Delete action.
