ARS Node Details Page#
The ARS Node Details page displays Auto Remediation Service (ARS) events for a specific compute node over a configurable time period. The page is available via Auto Remediation > ARS Node Details in the left navigation panel.
Select a compute node from the Node drop-down in the Filters pane to view ARS event data for that node in the other panes.
The ARS Events list shows all ARS state transition events that occurred for the selected compute node. The Telemetry button opens the Grafana monitoring tool for additional monitoring data about the selected node. The Node Details button switches to the Nodes Page and opens the details tab for the selected node.
The ARS Events Over Time chart shows a graph of the ARS state transition events during the selected time range. New compute nodes show initial transitions as they move from the New Node state, through Provisioning, and become Available for jobs. Healthy compute nodes should not have many state transitions. If a previously available and healthy compute node has a sudden increase in transitions, it could indicate a larger problem that requires investigation.
The Events by Type chart shows the type of ARS state transition events that occurred during the selected time range. Review the type of events to determine if a compute node has a health issue that requires investigation. Multiple transitions to the Auto Remediation or Work Queue state in a short time can indicate a deeper issue. A common next step is to determine which health checks are failing to find the root cause of the transitions.
Filter Events#
You can optionally filter the compute node event data in the ARS Events list by ARS state map status or by error type. The ARS Events list shows events that occurred for the node during the selected time range.
Export Events#
The Export button creates and exports a JSON file with the event data currently shown in the ARS Events list. If you applied filters, only the filtered data is exported. You can use the exported data for additional analytics.
