ARS State Machine Page#
The ARS State Machine page contains a graphical representation of where all compute nodes with the auto remediation service (ARS) configured are in the default ARS state map. The page is available via Auto Remediation > State Machine in the left navigation panel.
As compute nodes managed with ARS are added for the first time, they move from the New Node state to the Provisioning state where they run though an initial set of health checks. When all health checks pass, the nodes move to the Available state and can start running jobs. If a compute node encounters health issues, the node is drained and remediated. You can track nodes in each state using the Auto Remediation State Map. Clicking a specific state name brings you to the ARS Event Feed Page page that is pre-filtered to show events for the compute nodes that ended in that state.
